Checking Micro SD Storage In RetroPie With SSH
First, you have to make sure you have run the expand filesystem command from the Retro PieSetup Script. Then after a quick reboot you will be able to get an accurate reading of your free space available. Once you have logged into your RetroPie Setup using SSH, issue the command below to check the /dev/root file system available space.
pi@retropie:~ $ df -Bm Filesystem 1M-blocks Used Available Use% Mounted on /dev/root 29435M 21620M 6830M 76% / devtmpfs 364M 0M 364M 0% /dev tmpfs 368M 1M 368M 1% /dev/shm tmpfs 368M 6M 363M 2% /run tmpfs 5M 1M 5M 1% /run/lock tmpfs 368M 0M 368M 0% /sys/fs/cgroup /dev/mmcblk0p1 57M 21M 37M 36% /boot tmpfs 74M 0M 74M 0% /run/user/1000 pi@retropie:~ $
