Check SD Card Storage In RetroPie

Checking Micro SD Storage In RetroPie With SSH

First, you have to make sure you have run the expand filesystem command from the Retro PieSetup Script. Then after a quick reboot you will be able to get an accurate reading of your free space available. Once you have logged into your RetroPie Setup using SSH, issue the command below to check the /dev/root file system available space.

There are also other ways to get the same information, such as installing the RetroPie Web Server. Although we find this method to be the quickest.
